Alice Bonasio is a technology journalist, startup advisor, and consultant specializing in VR, mixed reality, and strategic communications. She is also a technology writer for FastCo, Quartz, The Next Web, Ars Technica, and Wired. In 2019, Veer TV named Alice one of the Top 10 Virtual Influencers You Should Be Following. Currently, She is writing a book called “VRgins about how virtual reality will change relationships in the new digital age. Alice is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Tech Trends—a fast-growing technology website that reports on disruptive technologies such as virtual reality and the Internet of Things (IoT). She is a top influencer and speaker in the XR/Immersive Tech/Spatial Computing space and took part in a 2020 BrightTalk live panel on commercial augmented reality. Alice was also speaker at the START Summit 2017 that was held in Sankt Gallen, Switzerland. In 2019, Alice gave a lecturer at the University of Oregon, School of Journalism and Communication called “Demystifying: Business Journalism in a Digital Age.” She spoke about business reporting in the tech sector and how she built Tech Trends as a platform and monetizable brand.
