Laura Johnsen (she/her) is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Anthropology Department at Binghamton University. She earned her M.A. in Anthropology in 2014. Laura is currently studying the marketing strategies of the sex tech industry for her dissertation research. She has contributed to articles on Future of Sex about virtual reality dating and trends in sextech. Laura is passionate about the sextech industry and is the Digital Marketing Director of the virtual networking group, Sex Tech Connect.
